Sun News Reporter on the Vancouver Seawall
This reporter was recording a small segment for what would be later a ‘small filler’. His talking time was around a minute.
A few small and interesting points:
- Because of the framing, the guy wears a jacket, tie and shirt, but since he’s a ’talking head’ he wears blue jeans and runners.
- For the fill light they do not use battery but a long, a very long extension cord and plugged it in around 75 meters away at the public electricity plugging point.
- They use a large diffuser to reduce the strong sunlight. Personally, I would have used a slightly different location, about 25 meters to their left and turned the ’talking head’ around (not a derogatory term, I just don’t know his name) against the sun.
