The Sausage
This is a sausage, aka a Dachshund. Dachshunds are supposed to hunt badgers, prairie dogs… Many are fierce like they are supposed to be, but the majority of the Dachshunds, that I know of, are shy and afraid of the world. But, somehow the Dachshund remains one of the most popular dog.
The Dachshund is not a “manly” dog, but I like them. It’s the eyes. I almost adopted a female Dachshund that was rescued from a puppy mill but I couldn’t afford all the vet bills that she needed. The vet bills would have been more expensive than a luxury car.
- Dachshunds can get fat very easily, especially if they don’t get enough exercise. The real problem for Dachshunds is that when they get fat, they will get back problems.

The Basset Hounds are almost normal dogs, they have a regular body but they also have very short legs. The Basset Hounds are midgets. On the other hand, the Dachshunds are regular height dogs with an elongated body which is why Dachshunds have so many back problems.
