Waiting for the Rain: Vancouver, BC
Vancouver is on the edge of the Pacific, and the home of what’s left of last tempered rain forest in North America.
And the keyword is: rain. We get the rain from the mountains and from the North. We get the rain from the Pacific, eight thousand kilometres to pickup moisture and then it falls on us because of the mountains. And we get the Pineapple Express which is warm rain from Hawaii…
Lily is 7 years old. Marcy, her owner, always put on the yellow rain coat on Lily if there’s any possibility of rain. It’s not for Lily but for Marcy. Without the raincoat, it would take a long time to dry Lily.
Lily is very well behaved and she doesn’t take my treats outside of her house. When we did the photos in her house, she eagerly took my biscuits, but outside, it’s another story…
