Waiting Patiently at the Restaurant: Vancouver, BC

French Bulldog waiting for a long time very patiently on the sidewalk in front of a restaurant

This French Bulldog, aka a Frenchie, is waiting and waiting. I first walked one direction, then at least half an hour later I walked in the other direction and that poor Frenchie was still there. That’s when I took his photo. Nobody said anything. This guy is there quiet and waiting.

In Vancouver, City Hall has allowed, over the last couple of years, all restaurants to have patio on the side walk as long as it fenced/separated from the sidewalk.

This Frenchie’s owners must have been in the restaurant or on the patio. I didn’t notice anybody paying attention to him or him paying attention to anybody either.

I’ve never understood, what’s the point of taking a dog if he’s going to have to be tied up to some pole from long period of times.
