Piper: Vancouver, BC

Piper is a mutt that was just adopted from a Los Angeles animal shelter. He was supposed to be executed the next day, when a rescue organization took him and brought him to Canada.

Piper is about 2 years old. He’s still trying to figure out how to deal with humans. He needs them, but he doesn’t understand them.

Piper knows how to chase and how to catch the ball, but he hasn’t figured out that he’s supposed to return the ball so that his humans can throw it again. Right now, that’s his ball and he’ll growl at anybody that tries to take it away. He killed it, that’s his…
