Men in Black, aka The Pug: Vancouver, BC

Pugs have become very popular in the last 20 years. But that’s only since 1997, when Frank the Pug appeared in the movie Men in Black.

Before that there were very few Pugs, especially in North America. Then, most people didn’t like the bulbous eyes.

Now? It’s a different story. Many people have realized that these dogs can live very well in apartments as city dogs. They don’t need big spaces and are very adaptable to the city life.
