A Stroller, A Ball, and A Relentless Jack Russell

Her owner, Manuella, is a lady from Nicaragua who just had her baby. She pushes her stroller with one hand and throw the ball with her ball thrower in her other hand. She told me:

Locca goes crazy if she doesn’t run or chase the ball for at least an hour and half.

Manuella C.

Manuella didn’t just name her dog Locca because it sounded cute. Locca is like ‘The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’ by Robert Stevenson. If Locca doesn’t get her hour and half of running she will turn into Mr Hyde. She’ll start to chase her tail, then get fixated on something and tear it to shred.

Somehow the running back with the ball is slower than the chase of the ball. It’s not about the catching the ball and killing it, it’s all about the chase and the drive of the chase.

On nice days, it’s not too much of a problem. Manuella lives pretty close to the park, she pushes the stroller and most of the times, the baby sleeps but when it’s raining, it’s a completely different story…

There’s something special about seeing your dog’s personality captured in a photo, especially when it’s as full of life as Locca’s. If you’d love a large print of your own furry friend to hang on your wall, contact me https://www.sritch.com/contact/ to discuss a session.
