Polo and the Park Next Door
This dog, Polo, is eager to play but unfortunately he can’t. The problem is that he lives right next to the park. Polo doesn’t live near the park or across the street from the park.

When Lon, the owner, opens the gate, it’s the park, no need to even cross a street. The park is literally at the bottom of the stairs and Polo wants to play. I am in the park as I took his photo.
Since the city pounds comes regularly, Lon, Polo’s owner, would have to be there. Lon is a very nice guy and his dog, Polo, is very well trained. Lon lets his dog, Polo, go and play/run in the park a few times per day for 15 to 20 minutes at a time.
Usually, after about 15 to 20 minutes, Lon calls Polo back and amazingly Polo runs back home! Amazing.
Polo is not only very fast, but he’s also quite cunning. He outruns most of the other dogs at the park. When any other dog owner throws the ball for their dogs, Polo also runs for it and most of the time Polo will be able to snag the ball. Usually, the other owners are not very thrilled by it and Lon has to get out of his place to retrieve the ball from Polo and return it to the original owner.

BTW, Polo’s name is not because Lon plays polo or even rides a horse, it’s because Lon works at Ralph Lauren in accounting.
