I asked for the basset hound’s name and she told me that it was Dufus. She didn’t know what it meant, so I told her that in French it wasn’t complimentary. The closest English equivalent would be ‘dork’. It wasn’t her, but her boyfriend that gave him that name.
Dufus and I had a long conversation. He was very helpful. Now I can see where my dog’s very thick and sturdy legs came from. His nose and his muzzle too. Dodoïte is half basset hound, half Australian Shepherd, half Corgi and three quarter chicken.
