Samson, a Bichon Frisee, is a reluctant ‘boss’. He bosses people around, not because he likes it, but because he has to since Marty, his owner, “doesn’t do his job.” Marty should be the boss. Marty doesn’t what he’s doing. Before going on the walk, he always ask Samson “where does Samson wants to go?”. it’s the same at meal time, Marty always ask Samson, his dog, what he wants for his meal…
In Samson’s world, there is always a boss. Since there has to be a boss and Marty doesn’t do his job of being the boss, Samson, the Bichon Frisee took the job, he had to. So Samson barks to order people around, but he keeps his distances just to be safe.
