Old Greyhound: Vancouver, BC

Almost all Greyhounds, in my area, are rescued Greyhounds from US and Mexican racing tracks. This one is no exception. She must have been injured because she had a slight limp.

Once, I tried to adopt a greyhound from the local greyhound rescue. I was denied because I was not good enough! The two ladies that interviewed us where shocked and outraged that I wouldn’t let the dog sleep in my bedroom and that I was using clippers to cut the toenails. I have been using these clippers with my previous dog for 15 years without any problem.

BTW, now my dog sleeps in my bedroom but it’s different because he’s completely stealthy and he doesn’t move for the whole night. Not a peep, I can sleep through…
