Mako: Vancouver, BC
Mako is a Boston Terrier. Like all good terriers, he needs to run between half an hour to a full hour, depending on the weather, the direction of the wind and the alignment of the planets. Not only he doesn’t catch his ball, he doesn’t even try to catch his tennis ball. He runs after it, and when it’s on the ground then he picks it up. Then he runs back with the ball as fast as he can. This is opposite of what most dog do. They run after the ball begin thrown and come back with the ball/prey much slower…
If Mako doesn’t get his daily running, he starts chewing and destroying the apartment.
When he gets home, he usually drinks (it’s more like slurp) a lot, eats a few treats and finally goes to sleep to recharge his batteries.
BTW, Mako is a type of shark. It’s a big shark that lives in the temperate and tropical seas. They mostly eat swordfish, tuna and mackerel. There have been a few occasion where they have attacked boats and taken large bite of the boats.
BBTW, the blue discoloring at the bottom of his right eye is from birth and it doesn’t seem to affect his vision.
