The Old Dog & the Sea: Vancouver, BC
I was walking along the seawall and I saw this dog on the Aquabus. The Aquabus is a small ferry that people use to cross False Creek in Vancouver, BC.
This dog is just above the water, he gets wet, there is some water where he lays down. He doesn’t even have a leash on.
Nobody, neither the passengers nor the pilot of the ferry, pay any attention to him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the pilot’s dog. He’s too comfortable and must be used to this.
I do not pretend to be on the same planet as Ernst Hemingway but I couldn’t resist calling it after the Old Man and the Sea. BTW, I do not know if the dog is a male or female dog.
Please notice the shoes of the pilot. These shoes are bicycle/clip shoes, talk about a “mishmash”…
