The Deliverance: Vancouver, BC

Finally, the deliverance!

This is my dog, Dodoïte (pronounced: Dodo ïte). Finally, I came to rescue him and deliver him from the ‘torture’, aka the wash & clip.

We have this lady that comes for the wash and clip. She uses an older van and she needs to plug-in for the hot water and the hair drier (so she doesn’t need to run and idle the engine). It takes her between 1hr 15 to 1hr and ½ for the wash and clip. This photo is the ‘after the clip and wash‘. Dodoïte gets his wash and clip about 4 times per year. He puts up with the it, but he doesn’t like it.

We try to schedule the wash for a few days of ‘no rain’, so he can rebuild the oil in his fur. This oil protects him from the rain and the snow. He usually can be walk for about ½hr in the medium rain without being soaked, he’ll be wet, but his skin will still be dry…
