Cashew, the Pitbull: Vancouver, BC

Cashew is a half pitbull and half who knows what.

Cashew is the reason why so many people love their pitbulls. He’s so nice and gentle. He doesn’t want to offend anybody. He won’t look directly at anybody, including me. Looking at me directly could be a sign of aggression. He doesn’t even take my treats.

Cashew’s past was unknown, he was found on the side of the road, in quite a bad shape. A lot of tender loving care brought him back. Cashew is totally silent, he never barks, he doesn’t even whimper. If he doesn’t like something, he will turn his head away and that’s it.

Cashew walks mostly on the grass instead of the pathway, that way he almost never encounters another dog nose to nose (except for mine which just stands beside me as I’m taking these photos).

Such a nice and pleasant dog!
