Busy Jogging: Vancouver, BC

This pitbull is busy jogging. But she still wants to know what am I doing kneeling on the ground with my camera and more importantly, what kind of dog is hiding behind me (it’s my dog).

I have never understood why people cut the ears of their dogs? It could be from previous owners.

The official word for ear cutting is “ear cropping”. The official reason for the “ear cropping” with pitbulls is that there’s less to bite on during fights. Some people say that the “ear cropping” is for fighting infections but cocker spaniels and poodles which get regularly ear infections don’t get their ears cropped.
