Busy Chewing: Vancouver, BC

Lucy, the ‘destroyer’ is busy chewing on a stick she found. At the same time, she is taking a rest from running around.

Lucy will chew through everything! She’s chewed bookshelves, books, table feet… Pretty much everything that has some type of wood or paper that is not glossy. Is it for fun? Is it for boredom? Is it because of anxiety? Monika, her owner, is not sure.

Monika started Lucy on pig hooves. Lucy is in heaven when she gets them. Lucy will stay busy a big part of the day chewing on these pig hooves. Monika tried the antlers but it’s too difficult to get and she found them quite expensive.
