Hummingbirds in Their Nest
Canada is not known for nice and warm winters. Vancouver is one of the warmest place in Canada in winter, but not this year. This February has been the coldest February ever. We’ve had more snow this February than ever. We’ve been the most cold ever, 10°C below our “normal” temperatures.
These 2 hummingbirds did a nest in the bush just across from my window. The hummingbirds survived the heavy snow. I didn’t do any photo of them when it was snowing because I didn’t want to disturb them.
Yesterday, Sunday, was sunny but still pretty cold, it was just 5°C in the sun! So the hummingbirds staid in their nest the whole day.
There are 3 hummingbird feeders within 10 meters from their nest, so they feed and go back to their nest.
