Happy Dog or What?
This is a happy dog. Look at her face, her mouth and her eyes. This is a very happy dog, She loves running.
I couldn’t ask for her name, her owner was busy running.

Doesn’t she look like a menacing beast coming toward me? When a dog looks fierce and even ready to attack:

The guy was watching his dog rubbing herself in the frozen grass. I don’t know what smell was there, but she kept on rubbing her face in “it”.
Often dogs will rub themselves in the urine of coyotes or in the urine of “important dogs”, aka the alpha dog.

His owner wasn’t very talkative but Zeus was very polite and cooperative. Zeus’ owner was extremely happy when he got his print.

This American Staffordshire Terrier, aka a Pit Bull, is working very hard and giving her best to catch her enemy: the tennis ball.
She runs, she jumps, she catches, and returns the ball. Her owner with one hand talks on his cell phone and throws the ball with his other hand. So I have no idea about how old she is or what’s her name. She gives it her best, no holding back. She did all that for at least 10 minutes while I was there. No stopping, no slowing down…

This is Loca. Loca is the female of Loco, meaning crazy in Spanish. Loca is a very energetic Jack Russell female. It takes her about an hour of running after the ball for her to start getting tired and too slow down ‘a little bit.’
That’s according to her owner who was pushing her 6 month old baby in the stroller. An hour is only the minimum exercise that Loca needs or she’ll go really crazy and destroy everything in the house. She will run and will bulldoze everything in her way of running…

Almost all Greyhounds, in my area, are rescued Greyhounds from US and Mexican racing tracks. This one is no exception. She must have been injured because she had a slight limp.
Once, I tried to adopt a greyhound from the local greyhound rescue. I was denied because I was not good enough! The two ladies that interviewed us where shocked and outraged that I wouldn’t let the dog sleep in my bedroom and that I was using clippers to cut the toenails. I have been using these clippers with my previous dog for 15 years without any problem.

This is Henri (that’s the French Henry with an i at the end), a Basset Hound. I like Basset Hounds. My own ‘beast’ is a furry Basset Hound. When Henri stands looking at me, he really looks like Droopy.
Droopy was a cartoon character created by Tex Avery in the 1940s for MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) in Hollywood. Droopy was voiced mostly by Bill Thompson. I used to watch these cartoons when I was a ‘young pup’. Droopy even appeared in some of the Tom & Jerry cartoons. Droopy was always happy but Bill Thompson gave it a meek and deadpan voice. And when he was ‘pissed off’ he would say:

This is Milo. Milo is a big Greyhound. Milo is not a rescue from one of the Greyhound racing in the US or Mexico. He’s born here, in Canada. His brother, Moe https://www.sritch.com/dogs/sheep-greyhound-vancouver-bc.html never runs (almost). He eats grass like a sheep.
But Milo runs and chases his Frisbee. He chases the Frisbee, but he never catches his Frisbee in the air. He doesn’t even try.

This dog has personality. His owner was busy talking to a bunch of other people, so I just kept on taking my photos and petting him.
This is a very confident dog and inquisitive dog. He wanted to know what I was doing kneeling down, almost on the ground.
