The Photographic Dance

A photographer on the left doing the ‘photographic dance’
The guy on the left is using a Canon 7D with a Canon 100-400L zoom lens. He’s trying to photograph a heron behind the wooden fence without getting too much of the fence in his photo.
He’s fully zoomed at 400mm but he still couldn’t get the ‘right’ framing. He started to bend his knees and up/down a few times until he seems to have found the ‘correct’ height.
My problem with doing the photographic dance is that sometimes I get ‘stuck’. My knees and my back refuse to stand up. In general, my preference is much lower to the ground, like when I’m taking this photo, so I have some carpenter knee-pad for my right knee (I only use one.)
Camera: Canon 7D ISO 400 and 1/500
Lens: Sigma 120-400 f/4-5.6 @273mm and f/7.1
