It’s a small camera that’s easy to carry and is not intrusive. People feel much less threatened by such a small camera.
Bring a ‘big camera’ and you are sure to get at least one confrontation, and sometimes the person confronting the photographer is not even the person that is being photographed.
In today’s age, people feel more threatened by a camera than by a gun. Cameras do not kill people, guns do. Somehow, people are more afraid of cameras. I don’t know why…
